Joo See Sim, 55, of Holland, Ohio passed away on Saturday, August 14, 2021. He was born in Penang, Malaysia on July 26, 1966 to Peng Cheah Sim and Teng Keow Khoo. Joo See graduated from the University of Toledo with a Master’s Degree in Engineering and worked for Norplas Industries as a Quality Control Engineer before his passing. Joo See was a caring and kind man, whose love extended to all living creatures - right down to the stray kittens that he would take in and care for in his free time. Joo See was a loyal and faithful son and brought joy to all his family and friends. He touched so many lives in so many positive ways and could brighten any room with his smile, his warmth and his willingness to have fun. He will be missed by all that have had the good fortune to encounter him in their lives. Joo See will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Joo See is survived by his brothers Joo Hup, Yeow Kooi, Joo Heng and Joo Seng, and his sisters Yeow Choo, Sock Hoon, Sock Goay and Sock Nai. His father Peng Cheah and his aunt Ah Mooy who is also his godmother continues to love and miss him. His sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Mee Suan, Beng Tin, Lai Yee, Yee Ping, Chin Chwan and Ker Jen hold fond memories of him. Joo See leaves behind many nephews and nieces who will carry on his spirit. Tze Tzin, Sze Min, Tze Wei, Eih Feng, Eih Yang, Eih Xing, Mathew Zi Jing, Christopher Zi Hao, Jia Ying, Zi Jian, Zi Xian, Pei Yih, Hwei Chueh, Shenq Jye, Chwee Ching, Chwee Lin, Chwee Hxing, Ty’ng Ty’ng and Jian Ming will always remember him as their eternally youthful uncle. The family loves him and will miss him very much. Joo See’s childhood friends from Malaysia (Gen X Friends Forever Group) were with him, fighting alongside him until the end. They were a group of best friends who shared their lives with Joo See in health and sang many songs with him even as he fought. And in his lifetime in Ohio, he had many friends and colleagues who were able to share the ways he helped them in their lives and the many adventures that he had with them. Across three continents, his loved ones fought by his side and fought with him in spirit until his passing. Joo See had a good and happy life which ended too soon. He will stay with us in our hearts, eternally young and forever fun. Funeral services for Joo See will be private. Arrangements were entrusted to Walker Funeral Home-Oregon Chapel.
