Jonathon David Aerni

Jonathan David Aerni died unexpectedly on Monday, January 4, 2021, at the age of 34. Jonathan was preceded in death by his infant son, David Dash; grandmother, Ednagail Aerni; grandfather, Floyd Aerni; grandfather, Donald Swartz; and great aunt Do-Do (Irene Hune). He is survived by his parents Ken and Carol Aerni; siblings, Matt (Stephanie) Aerni and Kristin (Mitch) Barner; grandmother, Patricia Swartz; three nephews; a niece; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Jonathan will be remembered by his family and close friends as a kind soul, who was caring and sensitive, often using humor to make those around him see the best parts of life. Those who knew him best knew his heart was always in the right place. Jonathan’s family, and those who loved him, find peace and comfort knowing that he is in heaven, surrounded by loved ones. Those who loved Jonathan can honor his memory by seeing humor and light in the world around them. Jonathan’s family will honor his memory with a private service later this year.
