Jon Michael Aka Or Ketchup Mikey Heintz, Jr.

Jon Michael Heintz, Jr., aka “Ketchup” or “Mikey”, 36, of Port Clinton, OH, passed away unexpectedly, Sunday, January 21, 2018, at his residence. Mike was born on August 31, 1981 in Bellefountaine, OH, the son of Jon Michael Heintz, Sr. and Angela Marie (McDonley) Neff. He was married to Lawanda Gibson and she survives. Mike worked for Port Clinton Fisheries. He was an active fisherman, fish cutter and hunter. He loved the water, any outdoor activities and working on boats. He was a sweet, kind and loving son. Mike was adored by everyone. Those left to cherish his memory are: Children: Daniel Michael Ryan Heintz and Joan Maxine Heintz; Mother of his Children: Georgia Ann Pollard; Mother: Angela (Steven Myosky) McDonley-Neff; Step-Father: Billy Mitchell; Wife: Lawanda Heintz; Sisters: Evelyn Danielle Heintz, Jeanie Heintz, Tabitha Burt, Patricia Heintz and Serena Henderson; Maternal Grandfather: Daniel (Jerie) McDonley Jr; Maternal Grandmother: Anna Mae McDonley; Step-Paternal Grandparents: Bob and Mary Mitchell and Maternal Great Grandmothers: Jeanette B. Kouts and Evelyn McDonley. Mike was preceded in death by his brother: Kaleb Mitchell, maternal great-grandfather: Daniel H. McDonley Sr, maternal great-grandfather: Francis E. Kouts and paternal grandparents: Peach and Claude Heintz. Visitation will be 2-8PM, Friday, January 26, 2018 at the Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home Crematory, Port Clinton, OH. Funeral service will be conducted at 1:00PM, Saturday, January 27, 2018 in the funeral home. Interment will be in Riverview Cemetery, Port Clinton, Ohio. The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, donations are being accepted in care of the funeral home for help with funeral expenses and care for his children..
