Joleane B. Lewis

Joleane B. Lewis, 37, of Gibsonburg, Ohio, died unexpectedly Thursday, March 24, 2011, at Physicians Choice Hospital, Fremont, Ohio. Jo was born November 18, 1973, in Toledo, Ohio, to Ernest and Patricia M. DePew Norwalk, Jr. She married Michael J. Lewis, Sr. in Gibsonburg and he survives. For 5 years Jo worked as a dishwasher at the Gibsonburg Care Center. She loved spending time with her children, nephews, and caring for her pets and other animals. In addition to her husband, Michael, Jo is survived by her daughter, Jodie Lewis and son, Michael Lewis both at home, her mother, Patricia Thomas Ferguson Norwalk of Pemberville, sister, Fillamay David Sherrill, Jr. of Bowling Green, and her two nephews, Dakota Heishman, and Daltyn Sherrill. Her father and grandparents preceded her in death. Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday, March 28, 2011, at the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, Genoa. The funeral service will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 29, 2011, in the funeral home with interment to follow in Limestone Cemetery, Graytown. The family has suggested memorials for Jo to any Humane Society of the donors choice.
