John Walter Hertzfeld

John Walter Hertzfeld, age 60, of Maumee, Ohio, passed away on Monday, February 10, 2014 at St. Lukes Hospital. He was born on May 30, 1953 in La Porte, Indiana to Henry and Catherine Hyde Hertzfeld. John enjoyed his job with Maumee City Schools and retired after 28 years. He was a past president of F.O.E. #2562 Maumee, a member of the American Legion and the Moose Lodge in Grand Rapids, Ohio. John is survived by an uncle and several cousins. Friends and family may visit at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant Street, Maumee, Ohio from 2:00-8:00 p.m. Friday February 14, 2014, where funeral services will begin at 7:30 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Fraternal Order of Eagles Benefit Fund or Donors Choice.
