John Fredrik Teigland, Jr.

John Fredrik Teigland, Jr., 61, passed away suddenly on November 11, 2021 at his home in Toledo, Ohio. John was born on April 21, 1960 in Toledo, Ohio to John and Mary Teigland. He is survived by his mother, Mary (Foley) Teigland; sister, Sue Stead; brother, Steve Teigland; nieces and nephews, Jane Stead, Greg (Deana) Stead, Brad Teigland, and Sammi Teigland and several aunts, uncles, cousins and great nieces and nephews. John had a passion for sailing, woodworking, cooking, and learning. He was a caring, helpful person, a great support for his mother, and loved to share his knowledge with his nieces and nephews. He helped his brother and sister-in-law build their log home. John attended the University of Toledo and was a graduate of Associação Escola Graduada de São Paulo, in Brazil. Family invites friends to attend a Celebration of Life on Saturday, November 20, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. at Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant Street, Maumee, Ohio.
