John E Taylor

John E. Taylor, age 87, of Genoa, passed away January 19, 2016 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg. John was born on December 8, 1928 in Detroit, Michigan to Adam and Irma (Kemp) Taylor. John was a graduate of Waite High School and married his beloved wife and soulmate, Charlotte, on January 23, 1981 and she survives. John was a machinist and maintenance supervisor for Mead Containers, Viking Paper and ProPak Industries retiring in 1992, and was a devout Christian man. Surviving are his wife Charlotte V. Taylor; children, Steven (Darla) Cameron and Cynthia (Andrew) Costley; grandchildren, Taylor Lynn and Maxwell John Costley, Jeffrey Cameron, and Megan Cerulli; three great-grandchildren; sister, Joan Gray; extended family, Mike (Sandi) Sesock; brother-in-law, Leroy McLargin; great friend, Bill Szabo, many nieces and nephews, and loving pets, Daisy and Midnight. He was preceded in death by his sister, Mary, and her husband, Booty Lee, and brother-in-law, Dick Gray. A memorial service for John will be held on Saturday, January 23, 2016 at 10:30 am. at Mainstreet Church, 5465 Moline-Martin Road, Walbridge, Ohio with Pastor Terry Smith officiating.
