JOHN K. TATKOWSKI “BIG BUDDY” Thanks to the Keeper of the Stars, our family had the honor of calling John, Brother, Uncle, Son, Dad, Big Buddy and most of all Husband. He passed away unexpectedly Wednesday July 16, 2014 surrounded by his soul mate, his “baby”….Pam. John was born in Ottawa Hills on November 11, 1952 to Chester & Virginia (Rogaki) Tatkowski. He married the love of his life Pam Fuller in Toledo on October 3, 1998. A “jack of all trades,” John was truly a family man. He thoroughly enjoyed hunting, camping but especially landscaping. A devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend he will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Surviving is his loving wife, Pam; children, Jason (Erin) Tatkowski; Dani Below; Josh (Rachelle) Below; Erin (Rob) Davenport; Angie Franz and family; grandchildren, Alex Relyea; Dawson Davenport; Korbin Below; Ashlynne Rice; Bekah Davenport; Jaxen Below and Jake Tatkowski; brothers & sisters, Mike (Cheryl) Tatkowski; Bob (Jan) Tatkowski; Jim (Deb) Tatkowski; Linda (Mark) Stratton; Joe Tatkowski; Dave (Laura) Tatkowski; Sharon DeMoe; Brenda (George) Wooten; Bill (Roccio) Tatkowski; Barb Lemon; extended family, Bob & Dot Fuller; Lynne (Bob) Brubaker; Jeff (Lisa) Fuller; Doug Fuller & Sherry and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Chester & Virginia; brother, Ralph and granddaughter, Miriah. There will be no visitation, but a Celebration of Life will be held at 333 N. Holland-Sylvania Rd., Toledo on Tuesday, July 22, 2014 from 10 am until 3 pm. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the family of John Tatkowski.
