John M Simoni

John M. Simoni, age 69, of Toledo, Ohio passed away on Saturday, March 21, 2015 at Fairview Skilled Nursing in Toledo. He was born in Toledo on February 2, 1946 to Louie and Mary (Tomes) Simoni, Sr. John graduated from Owens Community College and worked for many years for Conrail Railroad. His hobbies included model trains and pyrotechnics. John especially enjoyed spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren. He is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Barb; children, Heather (James Bartolet) Andrzejak; Matthew (Nicole Mastin) Keil; Angie and 9 grandchildren. In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his son, Matthew J. Simoni and brothers, Raymond and Louie Jr. Simoni. Friends and family will be received at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant Street, Maumee, Ohio on Wednesday, March 25, 2015 from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM with a Rosary Service at 7:00 PM. Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, March 26, 2015 at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
