John Christopher Shiko

John “Jack” Christopher Shiko, 63, of Sandusky, OH passed away Friday, December 3, 2021 at Firelands Regional Medical Center, Sandusky. He was born on October 17, 1958 in Passaic, NJ to John B. and Barbara J. (Budock) Shiko. He grew up in New Jersey before moving to Ohio in 1973. Jack graduated from Port Clinton High School in 1976 and attended the University of Toledo. Jack enjoyed astronomy and his pet cockatiel bird. Jack is survived by his children, Danielle (Jamie Jessee) Shiko, Jordan Shiko, and Josh Shiko, 9 grandchildren, Jessamyn, Kyra, Mikayla, Nevaeh, Jace, Kane, Axl, Kandon, and Briella, brother, Bob Shiko, and sister, Sandy Fleenor. He was preceded in death by his parents. Services for Jack will be private with burial in Catawba Island Cemetery, Port Clinton, OH. Memorial contributions in memory of Jack can be given to a charity of the donor’s choice. The Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, 216 Washington St., Port Clinton is assisting the family with arrangements.
