John P. Randolph

John P. Randolph, 79, of Port Clinton, OH, passed away, Friday, April 08, 2011 at Riverview Healthcare Campus, Oak Harbor, OH. John was born on October 07, 1931 in Gallipolis, OH, the son of John and Elva Harrison Randolph. On December 18, 1959 in Zanesville, OH, he married Donna Gill and she survives. John worked as a machine operator for Chrysler, retiring in 1994. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army, having served during the Korean Conflict, earning the National Defense Service Medal. John loved spending time with his family and listening to country music. He was an avid fan of the Cleveland Indians and the Cleveland Browns. John will be greatly missed by his loving family and friends. Survivors include: Loving Wife of 51 years: Donna Randolph of Port Clinton, OH; Daughters: Renee Aaron Nye of Oak Harbor, OH and Paula Chuck Dobrowolski of Marblehead, OH; Grandchildren: Robert Head Jr., James Head, Abbey Nye, Nicholas Nye and Lily Dobrowolski; Great-Grandchildren: Johnathan Head and Jordyn Head and Nephew: Larry Mary Heller of Oak Harbor, OH. John was preceded in death by his parents and son: Robert Head Sr. Visitation will be 4-8PM, Tuesday, April 12, 2011 at the Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, Port Clinton. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00AM, Wednesday, April 13, in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Meadow Green Memorial Park Cemetery, Huron, OH, where military graveside services will be conducted. Memorial contributions in memory of John may be given to Stein Hospice.
