John O. Rabiteau

JOHN O. RABITEAU John O. Rabiteau, age 84, of Perrysburg, passed away on Friday, April 28, 2017 at St. Clare Commons. He was a 1951 graduate of Gibsonburg High School and served in the U.S. Navy. He retired from the main Post Office in Toledo in 1989 where he worked as an Electronics Technician. John enjoyed jogging (45 years before it was “the cool thing to do”), working on his golf swing, skiing, and windsurfing at Maumee Bay State Park. John is survived by Joyce, his best friend and wife of 45 years; daughter, Brenda; son, Robert (Yolanda); three grandchildren; sister, Janice (Ken) Kukay; brother-in-law, Mike (Marcia) Petersen; and many nieces and nephews. In accordance with John’s wishes there will be no visitation or service. Those wishing to leave memorial contributions in John’s name are asked to consider the Wood County Humane Society. Arrangements were entrusted to Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, 222 E. South Boundary Street, Perrysburg (419-874-3133).
