John J. Jack Pisula, Jr. age 69 of Toledo passed away unexpectedly on Monday, June 11, 2012 at his home. He was born April 15, 1943 in Toledo to John and Elizabeth Romp Pisula, Jr. He attended Good Shepherd grade school and graduated from Waite High School in 1961. He then served in the Ohio National Guard as a military police officer. He began his career with Local 50 Plumbers and Pipefitters Union and retired in 2001 as a pipefitter with Dunbar Mechanical. Jack enjoyed his time spent on Lake Erie fishing and relaxing on his boat. He enjoyed his pool and loved to see his grandchildren in it. He also enjoyed camping, golfing and travelling especially on Caribbean cruises, Mexico and countless trips to Florida. He was a devoted Ohio State Buckeye and Toledo Rocket fan. Jack was preceded in death by his wife of 42 years, Diana Schmidt Pisula, with whom he is reunited with in heaven and an infant son, Ronald. A loving father, grandfather and brother he leaves behind his daughters Susan Mark Huffman, Tricia Darryl McDonald and Gina Brian Fischer; grandchildren Ryan, Rachel and Joshua Huffman, Lindsey McDonald and Anna, Darby and Reid Fischer; sister Jeanne Cutcher; brothers Robert Joan, Thomas Patricia, Donald Mary and Richard Isabella Pisula; and special friend Lynnette DeGolier. He will be greatly missed by family and friends and his absence will be heavy on our hearts. Friends may visit the family on Friday from 2-9 PM in the Walker Funeral Home 5155 Sylvania Ave. west of Corey where a sharing of memories will take place at 7 PM. Funeral services will begin Saturday at 9:30 AM at the funeral home followed by the Mass of the Resurrection at 10 AM in Christ the King Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Ft. Meigs Cemetery.
