JOHN E. NORTHCUTT III John Elijah Northcutt lll, 48 of Holland, died suddenly on Tuesday, July 19, 2016 at the University of Toledo Medical Center. He was born in Opelika, Alabama on August 14, 1967 to John E. and Heather (Simpson) Northcutt Jr. He married Margaret “Maggie” “Gidget” Neal on August 14, 1991. John worked as a Custodian at Dayspring Assembly of God for nearly 11 years. He was an active member of the church, where he performed in drama shows, handled set design and special effects make up. He loved movies and could quickly recall movie scripts and songs at the drop of a hat. John will be remembered for his playful jokes and ability to make people smile, living by his personal motto “I.A.O.” Improvise, Adapt and Overcome, a motto we should all live by. He is survived by his loving wife of 24.11 years, Margaret “Maggie” “Gidget” Northcutt; daughter, Jessica Aleece Feasel; son, Elijah Jacob Northcutt; grandson, Leo Feasel; mother, Heather Northcutt; brother, Lawrence (Patty) Northcutt; sisters, Lynn (Paul) Farnham, Cindy (David) Geers, Laura (David) Kolinski-Schultz and Sarah Wilcox, as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. John was preceded in death by his father, John E. Northcutt Jr.; mother-in-law, Leota Neal. Friends will be received on Wednesday, July 27, 2016 from 10-11:00 A.M. at Dayspring Assembly of God, 17360 N. Dixie Hwy, Bowling Green, Ohio where funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Burial will follow in Union Hill Cemetery. Rather than making monetary contributions, John’s family requests you honor his memory, by performing a random act of kindness for someone.
