John Renford Norman

John Renford Norman, 72, of Port Clinton, OH, passed away, Monday, November 30, 2015 at H. B. Magruder Hospital, Port Clinton, OH. John was born on July 27, 1943 in Cincinnati, OH, the son of Gene and Grace (Fife) Norman. He worked for Chrysler Automotive in Sandusky, OH, retiring after 30 years. On August 05, 1963 in Washington, DC, he married Thea D. Hall and she survives. John was a veteran in the U.S. Marine Corps having served from 1960 until 1964. He will be greatly missed by his loving family and friends. Survivors include: Loving Wife of 52 years: Thea D. Norman; Children: Darin Norman, Duane (Luana) Norman and Dawn (Bill) Buckley; Grandchildren: Jordan Norman, Hillary Zacharyasz, Dylan Buckley, Stefan Daniels and Skylar Norman and Great-Granddaughter: Gabriella Norman. John was preceded in death by his parents and several brothers and sisters.. Private family services will be conducted. Burial will be in Catawba Island Cemetery. Memorial donations in memory of John may be given to the Ottawa County Humane Society. Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home Crematory has assisted the family with arrangements.
