John F. Newby

John F. Newby age 57 of Maumee, OH passed away unexpectedly on Monday, September 7, 2009. John was born in Marietta, Ohio on March 23, 1952 to Edward G. and Frances R. Baker Newby. John was employed by the U.S. Post Office in Maumee as a letter carrier. He enjoyed traveling and coaching the girls softball league. He is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Alexander Greif Newby; mother, Frances Newby; brothers, Thomas E. Bonnie Newby and William B. Newby; aunt, Alberta Lipp; former wife, Julie A. Newby and brother-in-law, Tony Slusarski. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews and cousins. John was preceded in death by his wife, Katie, father, Edward and aunt, Martha Love.
