John T. Jack Minogue, age 75, of Toledo, formerly of Albany, New York, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Sunday, May 31, 2009, at Ebeid Hospice Center. He was born in Queens, New York on January 16, 1934, to Edward and Willa Minogue. A self-taught business executive, he began as a salesman with Beatrice Foods and retired in 1994 after 25 years as president of various companies within Beatrice. An avid New York Rangers hockey fan he adored his wife and loved his children and grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents and sister, Betty Brancucci, he is survived by his wife, Josephine; daughters, Donna Kenny Gaughan and Joanne John Mueller; son, George Mary Jane Minogue; grand-children, Darren, Dominick, Michael, Danielle, Gina, Megan and Jack; sisters, Ruth Houser, Claire George Stahler and Gail Minogue; brother, Edward Minogue; and dear friends, Pat Bosch and family. Friends may visit the family from 2-8 p.m. Thursday at the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 Sylvania west of Corey, where a Scripture Service will be held at 7 p.m. The Mass of the Resurrection will be held Friday at 10 a.m. in Christ the King Church.
