John Mcclure M. Mathews, Jr.

John M Mathews Jr., 59, of Fremont, passed away unexpectedly Saturday September 26, 2020, at Parkview Care Center in Fremont. He was born February 22, 1961, in Sandusky, the son of Dolores (Killingsworth) Mathews and John Mathews Sr. John attended Margaretta High School in Castalia. He enjoyed watching nascar racing. John worked for Goodwill Industries for many years. John is survived by his son Thomas (Ashley) Mathews and granddaughter Jadalyn Mathews in Fremont. Mother Dolores (Killingsworth) Mathews, Sister Sherri (Gregory) Marshall, Niece Amanda Marshall, Nephew Ryan (Melissa) Marshall, grand nephew Brantley Marshall, Uncle McClure Mathews Jr and his wife Barbara and their children, Tami Schultz and her husband Greg and their children and Special Aunt Patricia Killingsworth. John’s father John Mathews Sr, preceded him in death November 29, 2019. Ex wife Cheryl Mathews January 18, 2019, Granddaughter Thalia Camilla Grace Mathews March 7, 2020, Aunt, Ella May “Susie” Moyer January 9, 2015 and both grand parents. John will be cremated by Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home in Port Clinton. There will be no visitation.
