Madden John Edward Jack John Edward Madden Jack, age 77, passed away Monday, June 23, 2008 in Elkhart, IN. Born in Toledo, OH on June 26, 1930, Jack was a 1949 graduate of Central Catholic High School and attended the University of Toledo before joining the Navy Reserve. After returning from the Navy, Jack began working for Willys Overland in Toledo before relocating from the area for several years. He returned in 1967 and began working for Abbey-Aetna before joining the sales force at Mastic Alcoa. He continued his career in sales at Mastic until retiring in 1992 as Regional Sales Manager. Jack was an avid golfer and celebrated several holes in one throughout his lifetime. He was a member of Knollwood Country Club in Granger, IN, Brandywine Country Club in Toledo, OH, and the Sertoma Club. He enjoyed playing cards with his friends and spending his winters in Florida. Jack is survived by his daughters, Karen Tom Drouillard, Susan Frank Horton, III, Kelle Madden Solberg, Laura Madden, and Lisbeth Newman; grandchildren, Kristen Drouillard and Nicholas Horton; loving companion, Tania TJ Shaum; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Madden and twin brother, James Madden. Visitation will be held on Thursday and Friday from 4-8:00pm at the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 Sylvania Ave. west of Corey Rd.. Funeral services will begin at 10:00am on Saturday with prayers at the funeral home followed by Mass of the Resurrection at 10:30am at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.
