John Lowery

John Denis Lowery, 58, of Perrysburg, Ohio passed away unexpectedly on October 22, 2021. He was born in England on November 17, 1962 to Joan (Benwell) and Denis Lowery. John married his lovely bride, Helen Joy Treadwell on May 16, 1985. He loved to travel and lived in many different parts of the world but wherever life took him he always kept his British accent. John had a strong Christian faith, which guided him through life. He attended church his whole life and enjoyed reading The Bible and books about Theology and Quantum Physics. He was very outgoing and funny, loved being around his family and friends. He was a member of the Bavarian Sports Club, enjoyed playing football (soccer), working out, playing guitar, and listening to music. John enjoyed food, and good beer. He was a loving husband, father, son, and brother. John is survived by his wife, Helen Joy Lowery; children, Ashton John (Giane) Lowery, Rachel Diana (Fiancé Alexander Siebeneck) Lowery getting married November 11th, Emma Claire Lowery and Adam Dennis Lowery; granddaughter that is due November 4th, Amélie Emme Lowery; mother, Joan Lowery; siblings, David (Judith) Lowery, Diana (Vincent) Polastro, Paul (Suzanne) Lowery, Maria (Bob) Towers, Teresa (Jack) Harland. He was preceded in death by his father, Denis Lowery and sister, Helen. Friends will be received at Witzler Shank Walker Funeral Home, Perrysburg, Ohio (419-874-3133) on Thursday, October 28, 2021 from 5:00 PM-8:00 PM. Visitation will continue Saturday, October 30 from 10:00 AM-11:00 AM at Grace Church, 601 E. Boundary St, Perrysburg, Ohio 43551 with a funeral service at 11:00 AM.
