John J. King passed away September 3 at age 98. John was raised by his mother, Francis Kawecka, through the Great Depression, often relying on the charity of St. Francis de Sales parish. Ashur supplied parts for glass furnaces until its closure, earlier this year.
John Married Joy Mohler in 1950. They were married 62 years until her death in 2012. He was also preceded in death by his daughters, Cathy Robinette, and Carolyn S. Kawecka. He is survived by his sons, David Sabini, Mike King, Mark King, and numerous grandchildren.
