John M. Kimber

John M. Kimber, age 64, of Grand Rapids, Ohio passed away at his residence on September 29, 2012. He was born on March 13, 1948 in Syracuse, New York to William Sr. and Rita Noonan Kimber. John was a pipe fitter for Local 50 and was a proud union man. He loved photography, the outdoors, gardening, and was an avid naturalist. He was also a strong supporter of the Democratic Party. John loved his family the most and he will be dearly missed by his family and friends. He is survived by his mother, Rita; brother, Kevin; daughters, Kelly Christian Tobar, Rebecca Kimber and Kitty Gregg Farmery; and grandchildren, Cruz, Kai, Josey, Jack and Lucy; and dog, Mattie. He was preceded in death by his father, Bill; brother, Bill Jr.; and dogs, Molly and Otis Family and friends may visit on Wednesday, October 3 from 4 to 8 pm at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant St., Maumee, OH 43537 where funeral services will take place on Thursday at 11 am.
