John J. Joyce

John J. Joyce, Jr., 64, of Lambertville, died May 14, 2017 at his home. He was born November 8, 1952 in Toledo to the late John Joseph and Mary Ann (LeSage) Joyce. A graduate of Central Catholic High School, he was employed at Jeep for 30 years. In his free time, John enjoyed his dogs, TV movies, family dinners and sports. He was an excellent bowler having rolled three-300 games in his life. Surviving are his children, Nicole Cox (Gary Cox), Corie Joyce (Kelli Wambold) and Kasey Joyce (Andrew Schrag); grandchildren, A.J. and Maddie Muir, McKenzie, Hailey, and Jacob Joyce and Ashton Shrag; sisters, Maureen and Jamie; brother, Bob; and dogs, Lucy and Louie. Visitation will be Thursday, May 18, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of services at 1:00 p.m. in the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 Sylvania Ave. (west of Corey Rd.), Toledo. Private interment will be held at Calvary Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the Toledo Area Humane Society.
