John Carlyle Frater

John Carlyle Frater, 80, of Walbridge, OH passed away Wednesday, March 30, 2022 at home surrounded by his loving family.  He was born on April 18, 1941 in Upper Sandusky, OH to Charles and Ruth (Harmon) Frater.  On February 16, 1982 in Gibsonburg, OH he married Shirley C. Durfey, and she survives.  John worked as a service mand and office manager for Columbis Gas of Ohio.

In addition to his loving wife, Shirley, John is survived by his children, Doug (Leslie) Frater, Stacey (Kelly) Koselke, and Jennifer (Mark) Younker, grandchildren, Jacob & Nathan Frater, Jaret & Connor Koselke, and Marian, Cole, and Garret Younker, siblings, Duane Frater, Sharon Thiel, and Shrley Seymour.  He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Audrey Billock and brother, Dave Frater.

Per John’s wishes, there will be no services.  Cremation has taken place under the direct care of the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, Genoa, OH.  Memorial contributions in memory of John can be given to Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg, OH.
