John Jed Edward Enright , age 74, a lifelong resident of Toledo, died July 20, 2017 at his home. He was born May 24, 1943 to the late William and Eileen (Howard) Enright. John was a just man, always desiring what was fair and right. He will be remembered for leaving a legacy of love. His family always came first, as he recognized and appreciated their unique needs and characteristics, loving each of them with unconditional support and compassion. He was the first call to most in times of joy or strife, his unique ability to counsel without judgment wrapped you in comfort. John truly enjoyed sharing in conversation with everyone and knew no strangers. His passions also included back yard cook outs, flea markets and antique shows, where he spent many joy-filled hours. John was employed in retail sales for many years. Most commonly known as ‘John from Clark Oil’ (Monroe Street), John enjoyed socializing and building friendships within the community. John is survived by his wife of 45 years, Mary Ann Molly (McKeown) Enright; sister, Sheila (Enright) Moran; children, John Enright, Steve Enright, Teri McNall, Christopher Enright (Alison), Megan Enright and David Fisk (Laura); 11 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by brothers, William and Patrick Enright. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m., Monday, July 24, 2017 in the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 Sylvania Ave. (west of Corey Rd.) where a scripture service and sharing of memories will begin at 7:30 p.m. There will be additional visitation on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of Johns funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. in Christ the King Catholic Church, 4100 Harvest Lane, Toledo. Interment will be private at Calvary Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Johns Family.
