John E. Elk

John E. Elk, 87, of Perrysburg, Ohio passed away peacefully at Kingston Residence of Perrysburg on November 3, 2014. He was born on November 15, 1926 in Columbus, Ohio to Ralph and Mildred (Cullen) Elk and he married Marjorie R. Stewart on July 15, 1945 also in Columbus. John was a member of St. Rose Catholic Church in Perrysburg. He is survived by his loving daughter, Lynn (Brad) Ell; grandchildren, Brekke Ell, Courtney Ell-Suders and Bryce Ell; great grandson, Seamus Wilson; siblings, Martha Wiler and Jim Elk and nephew, Herb Wiler. He is preceded in death by his parents and wife, Marjorie. There will be no public services. A burial will be held privately at Franklin Hills Memory Gardens in Canal Winchester, Ohio. Arrangements were entrusted to Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, 222 East South Boundary St., Perrysburg, Ohio (419-874-3133).
