John Corey Covarrubias

John Corey Covarrubias age 43, of Toledo, OH passed away on Sunday, May 4, 2014 at St. Lukes Hospital, Maumee. John was born in Toledo, OH on November 25, 1970 to Phillip and Jacqueline Sue Boyer Covarrubias. John was employed at Parker-Hannifin in Waterville. He enjoyed working, fishing, aquariums, working on small engines. John could fix anything. John loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Shannon Kreft; daughter, Elizabeth James, daughter, Kristen Justin Kipplen, grandchildren, Noah, Joseph, Elijah, and Michael; mother, Jacqueline Sue Covarrubias; brother, Todd and sister, Jennifer. He was preceded in death by his father, Phillip and brother, Donny Leu. John was a loving husband, father, and Papa. He will be missed by many. Visitation will be held on Thursday May 8, 2014 from 3:00-8:00 p.m. in the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant Street, Maumee, Ohio 43537. Funeral services will be held on Friday May 9, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Heritage Church of God, 3520 Strayer Road, Maumee, Ohio 43537. Memorial contributions may be given to the family.
