John Stewart Cochrane

J. Stewart Cochrane, age 68 of Belle Glade Drive, Toledo passed away Monday, April 15th at Toledo Hospital ICU. John was an avid golf enthusiast and played golf often for which he excelled at with friends and loved golf immensely throughout his lifetime. Years back he was a member of the Inverness Club. John had a rewarding career at Ballas Buick GMC on Central Avenue for which he loved working for George and Marianne Ballas.

In John’s younger years he often hunted birds and small game appreciating the outdoors throughout the changing seasons. John’s real passion was providing passionate unconditional love for his assigned patients at Northwest Ohio Hospice. John also provided delivery services for Meals on Wheels visiting with his customers on his daily routes. Lastly John often spent time visiting with his nephew Scott Donaldson who he provided unwavering love for. John was a generous man who looked after his close friends. John often attended charitable golf events each summer such as the Kidney Klassic and most recently Shawn’s Annual golf outing to name a few.

John was blessed throughout his lifetime by many close friends. Special thanks need to be acknowledged to the entire ProMedica Toledo Hospital ICU care staff who provided exceptional passionate care.

John is preceded in death by his parents, Stewart “Stu” Cochrane and Sally, Sister Pauline “Polly”.

Arrangements for burial are being provided by Walker Funeral Home, Toledo. John will be buried at Calvary Cemetery on his family plot. Those planning on an expression of sympathy are asked to consider Hospice of Northwest Ohio, 30000 E. River Road, Perrysburg, Oh 43551.
