John L. Arndt

John L. Arndt, 53, of Walbridge, Ohio, died early morning, Friday, January 6, 2012, in Mercy-St. Charles Hospital, Oregon, Ohio. He was born June 5, 1958, in Oregon to Leslie H. and Virginia Rose Forbis Arndt and graduated from Woodmore High School, class of 1976. For many years John drove a steel hauling truck and the last few years was a groundskeeper for Restlawn Cemetery. John enjoyed playing pool, fishing, and having a beer with family and friends. He enjoyed traveling and had visited all 50 states. John especially loved his children and grandchildren. Surviving John are his children, Abigail Arndt of Toledo, Megan Arndt of Walbridge, and Randy Arndt of Bowling Green, grandchildren, Brayden Arndt and Kyleigh Massie, girlfriend, Adrianne Johnson of Walbridge, sister, Linda Carl Orth of Genoa, and Steve JoAnne Arndt of Port Clinton. His parents and sister, Karen Merce, preceded him in death. There will be no services. Memorials for John may be given to the American Cancer Society, 740 Commerce Dr. Suite B, Perrysburg, OH 43551. Arrangements have been handled by the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home Crematory of Genoa.
