Johann C. Manning

Johann C. Manning passed away on Monday, June 27, 2016 at Kingston of Sylvania. A lifelong resident of the Toledo area, Johann was born April 9, 1928 in Toledo, Ohio to Roy and Kathryn Corcoran. She was a 1946 graduate of St. Ursula Academy where she attended many reunions. She actively participated in the Breakfast Club of Alumnae until her hospitalization in 2012 and maintained many of her high school friendships throughout the years. Johann worked as a secretary for Owens-Illinois for many years and later as office manager for Sem-Com for 18 years until February, 2012 when she fell ill. Johann is survived by her son, David, who would like to extend special thanks to the caring staff of Kingston for the care they provided during her stay there. Visitation will be Friday, July 1, 2016 at the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 Sylvania Ave. (west of Corey Rd.) from 4-7:00pm with a 7:00pm prayer service. Funeral services will begin at 9:30am Saturday, July 2, 2016 with prayers at the funeral home followed by a 10:00am Mass at Christ the King Church, 4100 Harvest Lane, Toledo, OH 43623.
