Jody Lynn Alford

Jody Lynn Alford, 54, of Toledo, OH passed away Sunday, September 25, 2022 at the Toledo Hospital. She was born on April 7, 1968 in Oregon, OH to Joseph and Nora (Gallaher) Alford. Jody graduated from Clay High School in 1986. She previously worked as a hairdresser and cosmetologist for Future Wave and Ultimate Impressions, both in Oregon, OH. She will always be remembered for her contagious laugh, fearless spirit, and quick wit.

Jody is survived by her daughters, Kayla (Jeremy) Moritz and Chloe Alford, grandchildren, Addisyn, Makenna, and Beckett Moritz, sister, Jessica (Adam) Lants, and her mother, Nora Longsworth. She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Alford, brothers, Joey and Joel Alford, and her step-father, Ted Longsworth.

A Celebration of Life for Jody will be conducted 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 4, 2022 at the Walker Funeral Home – Oregon Chapel, 3500 Navarre Ave., Oregon, OH with visitation prior from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. Memorial contributions in memory of Jody may be given in care of the funeral home to help the family defray funeral expenses and may be given directly through Jody’s tribute page on the funeral home website www.walkerfuneralhomes.com.
