Jodi R. Taynor

Jodi Rae Taynor, 54, of Perrysburg, OH passed away Wednesday, December 16, 2020 in Cleveland, OH. She was born on November 11, 1966 in Toledo, OH to David and Josephine (Stolar) Furgeson. On May 15, 1999 in Northwood, OH she married George Taynor, and he survives. Jodi worked as a homemaker and enjoyed her role as Nana in watching her granddaughter, Josie. Jodi enjoyed camping, fishing, cookouts, bowling, going antiquing, canning, and cooking for her family. She was known for making many different types of Christmas cookies and candies and baking cakes for everyone. Jodi loved 60’s & 70’s music, especially the Iron Butterfly band. She also was an avid Green Bay Packers and Ohio State Football fan. Jodi was always on the go. She will be greatly missed by family and friends. In addition to her loving husband, George, of 21 years, she is survived by her children, Melisa (Nick Pies) Taynor, Andrew Borden, and Micheal (Ashlee Michalak) Taynor, 3 grandchildren, Spencer Goodsite, William Patrick David Grady, and Josephine Marie-Rae Taynor, 5 siblings, Karen (Scott) Smith, Robert Furgeson, Terry Furgeson, David (Ruby) Furgeson, and Beverly (Jim) Auxier. She was preceded in death by her parents. Jodi will be cremated under the direct care of the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, 501 West St., Genoa, OH.
