Jock Ellis Williams

Jock Ellis Williams, 62 of Toledo, Ohio passed away in the early morning of Sunday, April 9, 2023.

Born on December 13, 1960, Jock was the first son of his late parents, mother Mary Williams- Bedford and stepfather Fredrick Bedford.

In his younger years Jock enjoyed playing basketball and hanging out with friends. He attended Scott High School and later worked at Toledo Building Service and The Toledo Blade for years.

He was an avid sports fan from baseball to basketball but football was his favorite. Everyone knows he was a proud Dallas Cowboys fan.

Known by his friends as Jock-a-loch, he enjoyed reminiscing on the good ole times. Jock had a great sense of humor and loved to make people laugh. He enjoyed staying informed by reading the daily newspaper. In a true free spirit fashion, Jock believed in living life to the beat of your own drum.

He leaves to cherish his memory his one and only daughter, Callie S. Bannister and granddaughter, Canijah L. Taylor. He is also survived by his sisters: Sedalia Williams, Deborah Willams, and Darlene Bedford, only brother Thomas Williams, favorite niece Nichole and nephews Darron, Eric, Terrance and a host of great nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
