Joanne Natalie Sheets

Joanne Natalie Sheets, 82, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away peacefully on May 22, 2016 at Ebeid Hospice. She was born on May 6, 1934 in Toledo to Joseph and Lottie (Bawolski) Kokocinski and she married Edward Dean Sheets on May 22, 1965 in Sylvania. Joanne was a 1952 graduate of Holland High School. She was employed as a secretary for many years with Ameri-Source, formerly Kauffman-Lattimer before retiring in 1997. Joanne loved nature, being outside and playing with her fur-grandbabies. She also enjoyed traveling and spending time on the boat with Edward “Skip”. Joanne is survived by her loving daughters, Jodi Sheets, Kelly Borton and Mary Lynn (Jim) Czech; grandchildren, Eric (Maria) Czech and Erin (James) Lawless; great grandchildren, Christian and Elliott and sister, Mary Ann Stevenson. She is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Lottie, husband, Skip and brother, Ervin Kokocinski. Funeral services will be private. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider Ebeid Hospice and Toledo Area Humane Society.
