Joanne B Ballinger

Joanne B. Ballinger, age 79, of Toledo Ohio, died Friday, February 14, 2014 at Arbors at Sylvania. She was born June 23, 1934 in Toledo, Ohio to Felix and Sophie (Kujawa) Kaczmarek and on June 11, 1954 she married James S. Ballinger Jr. who preceded her in death on September 17, 1994. Joanne enjoyed sewing, quilting and most importantly, she loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be missed by all those who knew and loved her. She is survived by her children, Gloria J. (Chip) Williams, Patricia G. Phelps and Joseph (Lisa) Ballinger; grandchildren, Troy and Todd Furstenberg, Danny and Crystal Phelps as well as Jonathan J. Ballinger; 6 great grandchildren; brothers, Robert (Shirley) Kaczmarek, Michael and Danny Nowak; sisters, Veronica Mazurek, Betty (John) Young, Mary Smith and Antoinette Gillen. Joanne was preceded in death by her parents, Felix and Sophie; husband, James and her brother, Richard Kaczmarek. Friends will be received on Tuesday from 4-8 P.M. and on Wednesday from 2-8 P.M. at Neville Funeral Home, Southwest Chapel, 7438 Airport Highway, Holland, OH (419-865-8879) where funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 20, 2014 at 10 A.M. Burial will follow in Restlawn Memorial Park, Perrysburg, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made in Joanne’s name to the charity of the donor’s choice.
