JoAnn McNary, 82, of Genoa, Ohio, died Wednesday, January 9, 2019 after a short illness. She was born in Toledo, Ohio on September 25, 1936 to Roy and Leola (Ginrich) Pringle. After her graduation from Rossford High School she married Jack P. McNary in 1957 and he preceded her in death in 1995. JoAnn was a billing clerk for the USF Holland Trucking Company for several years, retiring in 2009. She had also worked for CCC Highway Trucking for 35 years. She and her husband Jack were past members of the Toledo Power Squadron. JoAnn loved to quilt, work in her yard, sail and having her furry companions near her. Survivors include her son, John (Lisa) McNary, daughter in law, Brenda McNary, grandchildren, Scott, T.J. and Shanna and brother, Mike (Nancy) Pringle. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, Tom McNary, sister, Nancy Nagy, and step-father, George Herroon. A funeral service for JoAnn will be conducted at 10 AM, Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home Crematory, 501 West St., Genoa, Ohio. Visitation will be from 3-7 PM, Monday in the funeral home. Interment will take place in the Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Perrysburg, Ohio. The family suggests memorials be directed to Hospice of Northwest Ohio, 30000 E. River Rd., Perrysburg, OH 43551.
