Joann Josephine Lonsway

JoAnn Josephine Lonsway, 87, of Maumee, Ohio passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 20, 2021 at her home surrounded by loving family and friends. She was born June 6, 1934 in Toledo, Ohio to Dominick and Esther Cuttaia. She was a nurse in the U.S. Army before she co-owned Lonsway Automotive & Towing with her husband, Raymond “Bill” Lonsway Sr. JoAnn is survived by her children Richard Roach, Pamela Myers, and Daniel (Julya) Lonsway; grandchildren Billy (Jaclyn), Ross, Evan, Colton, Ryan, Danielle, Travis, Ricky, Abrielle, Adria, Leslie, Kelly, and Samantha; special ex-daughter-in-law whom she cherished, Terri Lonsway; nephew Steven Lonsway; four-legged baby Precious; and many other family and friends. She is preceded by her husband, children John Roach and Raymond William Lonsway Jr., parents, siblings Angelo Cuttaia and Annette Stoianoff, grandchild Tyler, and her four-legged babies, Kelly and Coco. A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held Tuesday, July 27, 2021 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Walker Funeral Home, 5155 West Sylvania Avenue, Toledo, Ohio. Mass will begin Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at 10:30 AM at Saint Joan of Arc, 5856 Heatherdowns Boulevard, Toledo, Ohio.
