Joann Holeman

July 30, 1950 — October 19, 2023

JoAnn Holeman died peacefully surrounded by her loving family on October 19, 2023. She was born to her parents, Edward and Phyllis (Smith) Morris on July 3, 1950, in Northwood, Ohio. She graduated from Eastwood High School in 1968 and went on to get her associate degree from Stautzenberger College. She married Clifford G. Holeman in 1979 and they shared 44 years together.

A mom to so many people, JoAnn touched countless lives with her unconditional love. She was always loving, supportive, and accepting of others. Her heart, her home and her arms were always wide open, ready to care for and serve those around her. She was usually meek and kind, but her quick wit and charisma was sometime surprising. She was very much a family-oriented person and she always put others before herself. Serving was her love language. JoAnn served in many roles organizing the Lincoln-Miller-Morris family reunions, including president, vice-president, and secretary for over 20 years.

JoAnn was a huge Pittsburg Steelers fan, a love that she shared with her son. Her memory will be cherished by her husband, Clifford G. Holeman; daughter, April (Mark) Swope; son, Robert Kidd; grandchildren, Valerie R. Swope, Madison K. Kidd, Brandon E. Swope; brothers, Richard M. (Cindy) Morris of Pemberville, George (Carrie) Morris of Bowling Green; sister, Judy E. Lee of Pemberville, and many nieces, nephews, and friends she considered her own family.

Arrangements were made by Sujkowski-Walker Funeral Home.
