Parks Joan G. Joan G. Parks, age 78, passed away Tuesday July 28, 2015. The daughter of Arthur and Gwendoline Dunstan, she was born February 21, 1937 in Toledo. She was a graduate DeVilbiss High School. She worked for LaSalle’s, JDRM and Rightmeyer for 50 years for all three companies. Joan enjoyed spending time with her friends playing bingo &bunko and shopping on QVC. She was an independent but thoughtful person. Most of all she was a very proud grandmother. She is survived by her son, Jeff (Julie) Parks; grandchildren, Lindsey (Andrew) Stepper, Ryan (Lena) Parks, McKenzie Parks; and her cat “Mister”. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Robert. Friends may visit the family on Saturday August 1 from 9:00- 11:00 AM at Walker Funeral Home 5155 Sylvania Ave. (west of Corey Rd.) where a sharing of memories will take place at 11:00 AM. In Lieu of Flowers, those planning an expressing of sympathy are asked to consider Toledo Humane Society 1920 Indian Wood Circle Maumee, OH 43537.
