Joan Ida Guthrie

Joan Ida Guthrie, age 99, passed away on April 4, 2026. She was born in Maumee, Ohio. Joan was a school bus driver for over 30 years with Bedford Public Schools. She loved to be with her family and enjoyed being with her grand and great grandchildren.

Joan was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Blanche (Cousino)Rohr.

Survivors include her children; Deb White (husband Ed), Kim Verdier (husband Larry), Michele Thomas (husband Ben), Tom Guthrie (wife Vonnie), and Mary Nagy (husband Ron), along with 7 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends and family from 3-7 pm on April 30, 2026, at Walker Funeral Home, 5155 W. Sylvania Ave. A time for sharing memories will begin at 6 pm. Joan will be laid to rest privately by her family at Calvary Cemetery.
