Joan Brooks

Joan M. Brooks, age 91, of Swanton, OH, passed away Friday, April 2, 2021 at St. Ann Mercy Hospital. She was born January 6, 1930 in Maumee to Edward and Rose (Heck) Dennis. She worked for a time at DANA Corporation where she met her husband, Charles Brooks. The widow of Charles Brooks, she is survived by sons, Dennis (Bonnie), David (Claudia), and Douglas (Regina) Brooks; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and sister, Margaret Pioch. A Memorial Mass will be held Saturday, April 10, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Christ the King Catholic Church, 4100 Harvest Lane, Toledo. Inurnment will follow in Toledo Memorial Park. Arrangements were entrusted to Walker Funeral Home, Toledo (419-841-2422).
