Jo F. Moritz

Jo F. Mortiz, 84, of Martin, OH passed away Thursday, July 26, 2018 at the Landings of Oregon. She was born on March 2, 1934 in Gunnersville, AL to Clyde and Elvee (Leeth) Dixon. On December 22, 1956 in Genoa, OH, she married Alvin E. Moritz, and he preceded her in death on May 16, 2018. Jo was a devoted wife, mother and homemaker. She dearly loved her family and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a strong and influential woman of faith and a member of Mainstreet Church in Walbridge, OH. Jo enjoyed cooking, gardening, canning, and listening to music. Jo is survived by her sons, Gary (Joy) Moritz, Steve Kreager, Don (Jennifer) Kreager, Ron (Karen) Kreager, 15 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents and 5 siblings. There will be a memorial service for Jo on Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at 5:30 p.m., preceded by visitation from 3:30p.m. until the time of service at the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, 501 West St., Genoa, Ohio.
