Jo Ann Gallaher

JO GALLAHER Jo Gallaher, age 67, of Millbury, died Monday, May 7, 2012, at her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Knoxville, TN. on August 11, 1944, to Frank and Zella Mitchell. On April 4, 1965, she married Patrick Gallaher. Jo was employed with the former Riverside Hospital as a Phlebotomist and later at Bay Park Community Hospital. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Latcha. Jo took pride in her health, walking daily, and was a member of the Road Runners. She was an Aerobics Instructor for 15 years at the former Riverside YMCA. Jo’s passion was spending time with her grandchildren, her cats, and dogs. She is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Patrick; son, Jon (Darlene) Gallaher; grandchildren, Heather (Eric) Hirzel and Jon “JJ” Gallaher; and great-grandson, Wyatt Hirzel. Friends will be received on Thursday, May 10, 2012, from 2-9 PM in the Witzler-Shank Funeral Home 701 N. Main St. Walbridge (419-666-3121). Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 11, 2012 at 11 AM in Zion Lutheran Church 26535 Pemberville Rd. Perrysburg, Ohio. Burial will follow in Lake Township Cemetery.
