Jo Ann Diefenthaler

Jo Ann Diefenthaler, age 77, of Maumee, Ohio, passed away on Friday, February 10, 2012 at University of Toledo Medical Center. Jo Ann was born in Bedford, IN on June 15, 1934, to Roy and Clara Stout Brock. Jo Ann was employed as a office clerk for 12 years at BP Oil. She was a member of Faith Community United Church of Christ, Maumee. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, sewing, traveling and her card club. She is survived by her children, Nancy Kurt Ehrhardt, David Christine Diefenthaler, Ellen Tipping and Janet Ross; grandchildren, James Amanda Kantner, Mindy Adam Noaker, Kathryn Robert LaMere, Jennifer David Shumaker, Natalie Ross, Anthony Ross and great grandchildren, Corinne, Gavin, Eris, Brock and Marissa. In addition to her parents, Jo Ann was preceded in death by her loving husband of 49 years, Homer; son-in-law, Arlen Tipping; sisters, Juanita, Kathleen, Norma, Roberta and brothers, Raymond and Robert. Family and friends may call at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant Street, Maumee on Sunday, from 2-8 pm, where services will be held on Monday at 10:00 am. Interment will follow at Highland Memory Gardens, Waterville, OH. Memorial contributions may be made to Faith Community UCC or Alzheimers Association.
