Jill M. Evans, age 44, of Weston and formerly of Maumee, died Nov. 23, 2021, after a battle with Frontotemporal Dementia. She was born July 31, 1977, in Toledo and graduated from Maumee High School in 1995 where she played softball and basketball. Jill was employed with the Lucas County Sanitary Engineers office for more than 15 years and had previously worked at the Anderson’s in Maumee. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Maumee, active with the Ladies CRHP group. Jill was an avid fan of the Michigan Wolverines and Detroit Red Wings; loved country and 80’s music and family trips throughout the U.S. Jill found her greatest joy in attending her children’s sporting events and caring for her family. She was strong, determined, and selfless, always serving others before herself. Her energy and affection will be deeply missed. Left to cherish her memory is her beloved husband of 22 years, Greg; children, Connor (fiancé, Psalm), Morgan and Owynn Evans; mother, Evelyn Jendrzejak; and siblings, Kelly (Paul) Kanneman and Chad Jendrzejak. Jill was also preceded in death by her father, James Jendrzejak; grandparents, Virginia and Melvin Jendrzejak, and Ken and Maxine Perry. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m., Friday, Dec. 3, 2021, in the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant St., Maumee, where a scripture service and sharing of memories will be held at 7:30 p.m. Services will begin with prayers in the funeral home at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 4, 2021, and proceed to St. Joseph Catholic Church, 104 W. Broadway, Maumee, for 10:30 a.m. funeral Mass. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery. The family would like to extend a special thanks to family and friends, St. Joseph Church and the ladies from CRHP, and the staff at both Southern Care Hospice and Park Terrace for all of their love, compassion and support.
