Jessie Ronald Caldwell

Jessie Ronald Caldwell, 58, of Catawba Island, OH, passed away Friday, February 01, 2013 at his residence, after a extended illness, surrounded by his loving family. Jessie was born on August 09, 1954 in Kingsport, TN, the son of R. C. and Gladys Mullins Caldwell. He graduated from Douglas Bennett High School in Kingsport, TN and moved to Port Clinton, OH in 1974. On July 18, 1999 in Port Clinton, OH, he married Vicky Pollard and she survives. Jessie worked as a heavy equipment operator for LaFarge Quarry on Kellys Island. Prior to that he drove truck for Heineman Distributors for 10 years. Jessie enjoyed Harley Davidson motorcycles, camping and traveling. He especially loved spending time with his family. He will be greatly missed by his loving family and friends. Survivors include: Wife: Vicky Caldwell; Daughter: Amanda Caldwell; Sons: Trinity Caldwell, Troy Caldwell and Clint Caldwell; Step-sons: Tony Neff, Dean Neff, Brian Neff and Mike Neff; Granddaughters: Cara Caldwell and Kayle Welter; Grandsons: Justin Caldwell, J.C. Caldwell, Blake Barker and Noah Caldwell; 9 Step-Grandchildren; Sister: Diane Caldwell and several cousins. Jessie was preceded in death by his parents.. A Gathering to celebrate Jessies life, will be held for family friends from 1-3 p.m., Monday, February 4, 2013 at the Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home Crematory, Port Clinton, OH.
