Jerry M. Tressler

Jerry Max Tressler, age 68, passed away at Ebeid Hospice on May 7, 2012. He was born June 13, 1943 in Toledo to Clifford and Mary Hourning Tressler. Jerry was retired from the former Walker Ambulance Company. He served in the U.S. Marine Corp during the Vietnam Conflict. Jerry was a member of the First St. Marks Lutheran Church, Eagles Lodge 197, Moose Lodge #713, and the Sylvania Township Police Association. Preceded in death by his loving wife, Cathy who just passed away May 1, 2012; parents; son, Anthony; sister, Mary Catherine; and brothers, Larry, Daniel, Kenneth and James. He is survived by his son, John Becky; daughter, Jamie Bill; grandchildren, Jerry Robert, and Bobby; Johnnie, Cathryn, Krystle, and their mother Patty; and Joshua and Hallee; 10 great-grandchildren; sisters, Patricia Donegan, Barbara Tressler, and Deborah Bradford; and brothers, John, Raymond, Robert, and Michael Tressler. Visitation will be at the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 Sylvania Ave. west of Corey Rd. on Saturday, May 12, 2012 from 1-4:00pm with funeral services following at 4:00pm.
