Jerome J. "Bim" Zmudzinski, Jr.

Jerome J Zmudzinski, Jr., “Bim” passed away on September 17, 2023, peacefully at home with his loving wife and children by his side. He was born on December 15, 1955 in Toledo. He graduated from Central Catholic High School in 1973.

He loved his four grandchildren very much and loved watching them play soccer and basketball. Jerry loved taking them to Rose Lake to fish and play in the water. They were his world and would do anything for them. Jerry also enjoyed spending time at the lake, gardening, cruising and watching Michigan play football.

Jerry worked 40 years at Libbey Glass. He worked hard and while raising a family he went back to school to become an Electrician and graduated from Owens Community College. Jerry retired as a Supervisor from Libbey Glass. He had recently found out that he had a rare form of Leukemia and lost the battle to Chronic myelomonocytic leukemia (CMML).

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Linda; his children, Kelli (Brian), and Kyle (Kate); mother, Janet; grandchildren, Riley and Travis Rosengarten, Kaden and Kayla Zmudzinski; 2 sisters; 3 brothers; and many nieces and nephews.

The Zmudzinski family would like to express our sincerest and heartfelt thank you to ProMedica Hospice for their compassionate care that they provided to Bim. Friends and family are invited to visit from 3-7 pm on September 20, 2023, at Walker Funeral Home, 5155 Sylvania Ave. The funeral service will follow at 7 pm.
