Joseph Dzjia Dzjia Jerome J. Borysiak, age 87, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away Friday, January 7, 2011 in his home. He was born Sep-tember 15, 1923 in Toledo to Lucian and Wanda Wisniewska Borysiak and reared by Violet Urbanski Borysiak. Jerome was employed as a set-up man for General Motors Hydramatic for 28 years, retiring September 1, 1988. A very kind, gentle and generous man, Jerome loved to make people smile and laugh. He was a talented violinist and played with the Joe Lewandowski Blue Skies Orchestra, Jerome even passed on his love of the violin to his great- granddaughter. Jerome was a devout Catholic and a parishioner of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church and Sts. Adalbert and Hedwig Catholic Churches. Jerome enjoyed going out to eat and traveling, but the greatest love of his life was his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Jeromes loving wife of 63 years, Regina Borysiak, passed away December 24, 2007; he is survived by his loving family, daughters, Cynthia Ron Malaska and Michaline Joe Pesartic; grandchildren, Annette Tim Doenecke, Amy Jim Raczkowski, Christine Greg Forbes, Renee Chris Lipford Pesartic and Joe Julie Pesartic; great-grand-children, Madeline, Ben and Jonathan Doenecke; Kennedi and Joey Pesartic and Nicholas Raczkowski; sisters, Lucille Kwiatkowski and Gerry Dan Michalski, and brother, Ray Lucy Borysiak. Jerome was preceded in death by his parents, Lucian and Wanda Borysiak and Violet Urbanski Borysiak; wife, Regina Borysiak and brothers, Leo and Edwin Borysiak. Family and friends may visit Tuesday, January 11, 2011 from 2-8 p.m. in the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 West Sylvania Ave., Toledo, where a Scripture Service will be held at 5:00 p.m. Funeral services will begin Wednesday, January 12, 2011 at 9:15 a.m. in the funeral home followed by the Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. in St. John the Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery. The family requests memorial contributions to St. John the Baptist Church or Sts Adalbert and Hedwig Churches.
