Jerold P. Jerry Madison

Jerold Jerry P. Madison, 63, of Oak Harbor, died at his home on Friday morning, May 18, 2018, after a short illness. Jerry was born September 27, 1954, in Port Clinton, Ohio, to Joseph and Jane A. (Young) Madison. He retired in 2016 after working 35 years at U.S. Gypsum. Jerry was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church in Oak Harbor. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, trapping and fishing with his son, who on most occasions would out fish him. His greatest love and enjoyment was his family. Jerry is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Madison of Oak Harbor, son, David Madison of Oak Harbor and daughter, Victoria (Steve) Leathead of Fremont; grandchildren, Grant and Tessa Leathead; and his siblings, Joseph (Billie) Madison of Bettsville, Jean Madison of Milford, NJ, John Madison of Oak Harbor and Joan (Dale) Fehlberg of Blissfield, MI. His parents and brother, James Madison, preceded him in death. Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, May 23, 2018, at the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home, 165 E. Water St., Oak Harbor. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, May 24, 2018, at St. Boniface Catholic Church, 215 N. Church St., Oak Harbor, with an hour of visitation from 9-10 a.m. prior to the Mass. Burial will take place in Salem Township Union Cemetery. Memorials for Jerry may be given to St. Boniface Catholic Church or the Ronald McDonald House.
